Candidate Requirements

Stellari Health makes certain our health information management professionals have the training, credentials, and experience to provide each facility with high quality service. Each candidate must pass a verbal and written test to clearly define strengths and weaknesses. This process ensures professionals will be assigned to appropriate environments for their skill set. Potential consultants must provide a thorough background check and excellent references; have a minimum of 3 years experience, and at least one of the following credentials: RHIT, RHIA, CCS, and/or CCS-P.

As a member of the Stellari Health Team, coders undergo random audits during the year and are required to maintain 10 continuing educational credits in addition to maintenance requirements.

We provide our full-time consultants with CPT Assistants, Coding Clinic, and reimbursement for continuing education credits. This is done to ensure our professionals stay proficient within the changing industry.
